Unfortunately, some shops have moved out of our premises in Prora in 2023. A shop that processed and sold small gemstones and cute accessories from the beach was the next shop that wanted to leave us.

So I wanted to give the owner a little parting gift. Something she could use in her little shop.

I was not lucky with the search for amber on the Prora beach. So I was looking for something else. But I found nothing that would be appropriate.

Then the move-out date was getting closer and closer, but I still didn't have a bright idea.

So I tried the power of the universe. I asked it several times to provide me with an idea to be able to give the owner something original as a farewell gift.

I found a pretty pine branch that she could have put in a vase and attached her jewelry to its branches. I also took it with me, but I was not satisfied with it. The branch was quite fragile.

Now I explicitly asked the universe for a pretty stone, so I summed up my wish more precisely now. But I only found the usual stones, which were also pretty, but would not be a gift.

Then I remembered that I was looking too cramped. The higher power does not like to hold on to something spasmodically. If you are cramped, it sends you spasmodically induced results. Just like with me. I walked around the area as if obsessed and fixed every object that was lying there, whether it could have been a gift, bent down every time, picked it up and examined it, only to find that it was not a suitable gift after all.

So I smiled and confided.

The next day I ran along the path again, which I had already walked a dozen times before, and came to the fork in the road, just like the days before. And I couldn't believe my eyes!

There he lay, a black stone.

Illuminated by the sun, he shone at me. A small black shiny stone about 2 x 2 cm in size, which looked like an obsidian, sanded with a small abrasion on one side.

Completely perplexed, I looked up, to the right and left, took off my glasses and rubbed my eyes. And then the tears of joy came to me already. The universe had actually delivered. Thank you, thank you, thank you dear universe.

The farewell was now here and the owner was happy.
